Perform the comprehensive engineering of a significant scale waste energy recovery plant in the industrial heart of the United Kingdom, capable of processing up to 395,000 tons of municipal waste per year. The technical challenge involved designing all systems and disciplines to ensure maximum energy efficiency, compliance with strict British and European emission regulations, and ensuring the operational continuity of a critical infrastructure for regional waste management.

The Sandwell plant, designed to treat 395,000 tons of waste per year, not only supplies Electricity to about 95,000 homes, but also offers a sustainable solution for waste management in the West Midlands region. This project reinforces the transition to decarbonization and converts waste into an energy resource, in line with the United Kingdom's objectives of reducing emissions.
