MIRFA II Reverse Osmosis Integrated Water Plant (MIRFA II RO IWP)

Develop civil engineering for the tender of a new desalination plant integrated into an existing complex (Brownfield), with a production capacity of 80 MIGD in the base solution and 120 MIGD as an alternative. The main challenge was to define and precisely measure civil works, structures and ancillary services, ensuring integration with the existing infrastructures of the Mirfa complex and complying with the strict technical and contractual requirements of an IWP project in the United Arab Emirates.

The MIRFA II RO IWP project will significantly strengthen the supply of drinking water in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, increasing water security in the region and supporting its demographic and industrial growth. The new plant will allow efficient and reliable production of desalinated water, contributing to the sustainable management of water resources in an area with a high shortage of fresh water and a high dependence on desalination.
