Develop civil engineering for the processing and obtaining of permits for an innovative pilot installation based on the cultivation and processing of algae, at an early planning stage and without a final investment decision. The challenge lay in adapting the design to a demanding regulatory framework, integrating criteria of sustainability, technical viability and environmental constraints, as well as in anticipating the requirements of an emerging technology with little specific regulatory reference.
The technical and administrative bases were laid for the viability of the project, facilitating a solid processing process aligned with current regulations. The engineering developed made it possible to optimize the design from an early stage, reduce regulatory uncertainties and accelerate customer decision-making. In addition, the project contributes to the promotion of innovative solutions based on sustainable raw materials, promoting decarbonization and the development of new energy production routes with a lower environmental impact.
